That is GHIDRAH. 

The band was founded in the summer of 2017 in Wiener Neustadt, Austria,  

by musicians with years of live, touring, and studio experience. Their balanced blend of brutal but progressive riffs, powerful drums, captivating melodies, and versatile vocals is poured into modern metal without settling in to a single genre box. Relentlessly, GHIDRAH continue to forge, release, and perform their songs live. Well known within the Austrian scene, the band have also hit the road with acts such as Dark Tranquillity and Equilibrium, and appeared at festivals alongside Soulfly, Kreator, and Hammerfall, always ready to command on stage and energise audiences. In spring 2023, GHIDRAH released their debut album Repulse, available on all major download and streaming platforms.  

The album’s complex songwriting and refined production elevated the band to a new level, clearly reflected in the strong response to the singles  

“There Is No Hell” and “Nightbreaker.” 

 

Following a lineup change in 2025, GHIDRAH have set their sights  

firmly on the future:  

Two video single releases are planned for 2026, leading up to a  

new EP in autumn 2026, starting the next chapter for GHIDRAH.
