That spring, in search of like-minded people, ex - drummer of the bands L50 and Narval-Kirill Popov pasted ads on the walls of music stores. As a result, a common language was found with the natives of the city of Polar dawns-Artem Kudryashov and Shurik Shcherbinin. Already in 2002, as soon as the guys resolved all the questions, they released their debut record with the same name "Dead Keds". It was a completely independent, self-made release.
DIY-everything we love. By the way, the recording was done at the rehearsal point, and the mixing was done on the home computer of the sound engineer and band Director. The guys achieve their first success by performing at various St. Petersburg venues.
Later, the band went into the Studio and released an LP called "Alien sky" (2004), which took about a year to record and mix. It was also the team's first Studio recording.
In 2004, the Deadkeds sit down to record their second record. So, 2 years later they released the EP "INCorporated Rock" (2006), which collected a lot of hype. Then the video of the same name is released, which got into the rotation of the TV channel "A-One" in the fall of 2006 and is nominated for the RAMP 2006 award in the category "Clip of the year".
After that, the guys publish the album "Agniesha"(2007, which they had been working on for about 4 years. Like all of the band's work, the new album is a mix of a wide variety of progressive music styles. The band's frontman, Artem Kudryashov, describes it as the best album they have ever released. Next, the team begins an active concert activity, and then they work again in the Studio to record new material.
In November 2008, after finishing the preparation of the instrumental program, Deadkeds ceased to exist by mutual agreement of the participants. Three years later, the band's first drummer, Kirill Popov, died suddenly due to heart problems...
Already in 2013, the band reorganized to perform at the "Back to Zero" festival, temporarily inviting the drummer of the band CHANGE OF LOYALTY Pavel Mosin. After a successful concert, the guys seriously thought about reuniting and continued to perform.
At one of the last interviews (https://vk.com/video-245605_168066247) Artem said that they have something new in their plans and on June 1, 2017, the work began. Mark Mironov decided to participate as the drummer in the new recording.
In 2019. the last album “Shadows go last " was released, which, like the rest of the albums, is available on all music services.
