Edva stands for Edouard and Valentina. Originally from Russia but now based in Paris, this duo—neither a couple nor siblings—seamlessly blends pop, trip-hop, and electro, performing in three languages with a uniquely captivating voice.
With Edva, you’re transported. Their music, both cinematic and peaceful, is shaped by Ed’s background as a composer for film and media back in Russia. Tina, once the lead singer of the Moscow indie pop band Tinavie, brings a luminous voice that recalls the artistry of Björk, The Dø, and Kate Bush.
Edva’s songs, sung in English, French, or Russian, explore universal themes: falling in love, starting a family, finding meaning in the sky, and longing for peace.
“Trust your heart” is their guiding message, beautifully conveyed in their moving single Give Me Back My Home. New music is on the way, set to release in early 2025.
