Sergei Rachmaninoff Liturgy of St John Chrysostom
From July 23 to August 4, 2025,
the St. Petersburg Choral College recorded Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom in one of Veliky Novgorod’s oldest churches—the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary at the 12th-century Antoniev Monastery.
A project by SEA (Serpeneva Agency) and Solovev Georgii Studio, carried out in collaboration with the St. Petersburg Choral College under the direction of Nikolai Romanov, with support from Terra Nova. The recording was made at the Terra Nova Studio facilities.
