“Northern Fairytale” is the first album where songs written right in the studio met with the very first compositions made before the group was formed. We analyzed each song to the smallest detail, looked for options, argued, wrote and rewrote the material. The result was almost a new piece of music. When music develops and carries along, it is impossible to stand still and not start changing with it. It was difficult to keep our music beyond the glass wall of our usual sound. We put this idea as a basis for the cover illustration: its central element is a sphere breaking into fragments under the influence of a sound wave. What remains unchanged is the variety of genres: folk rock (“Sorceress”, “Golden Strings”), neo-folk (“Northern Fairytale”), blues rock (“Like God”), country music (“The Witcher's Holiday”), rock ballad (“Angel of the Road”). But despite this, the album cause a sensation of integrity, as if reading a fairy tale book with pictures. An attentive listener will find common stylistic techniques and elements in arrangements that combine such seemingly different stories into a single collection of musical tales.
