Karen Karapetyan (born April 20, 1977) is the golden jazz violin of Belarus, an artist, composer, author-performer, arranger, session musician, member of the Belarusian Union of Musical Figures. He graduated from the Tbilisi Music Gymnasium with a violin degree, after which he moved to Minsk. During his student years, he repeatedly participated and was among the winners of various music festivals and competitions: the Minsk-97 Jazz Festival (as part of the Calypso ensemble), the Minsk Jazz Orchestra Festival (as part of the Calypso Ensemble, 1998), the Grand Prix at the Student Spring 98 Festival in the city of Vitebsk, the festival "Slavic Bazaar-2000" (Vitebsk, as part of the ensemble "Stagecoach Jazz").
Having received a higher musical education at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, he began building his musical career.

VIA Harli) As a solo artist on his account: a solo concert in Zelena Gura, Poland (2001), a series of solo concerts in Switzerland (Bazel, Zurich, Bern, 2001), the Eilat 2007 Festival (Israel March 2007), the Mamakabo 2007 Festival (Crimea, Koktebel summer 2007), performances at the Russian Romance Theater. He also participated as an invited guest and soloist in session work with VIA Harli, the J-Morse group, the duo "Savannah", the group "KRIWI", Gunesh Abasova, the ensemble "Stagecoach Jazz", Olga Barabanshchikova, Iskui Abalyan, the group "Lepreconsi", the group "Zet", Viktor Kalina, Igor Klimov, Tatiana Belonoga, Olga Zalesskaya, the ensemble "Merkava", the duo "Alexandra and Konstantin", the group "The Project", the duo "Atlantica", Anna Sharkunova, Sergey Manukyan (Russia), etc. Currently, Karen Karapetyan continues her creative activity as a composer and performer, performing solo concerts.
At the moment, more than 45 original compositions have been written and released, posted for free listening, on their own Youtube channels, Rutube, and on many digital audio Internet sites.
