Nikolai Adamov was born in the gorgeous resort town of Pyatigorsk, Russia.
As a teenager he became interested in music, but his parents sent his two sisters to music school and Nikolai, being an enthusiastic person, became involved in sports, boxing, karate, volleyball and table tennis, where he achieved some success. Before that there was a passion for photography and radio modelling. By the age of 12, socialising with friends in the yard, Nicholas had learned to play his first chords, and from that moment his love for music began. Then a backyard ensemble, and in the schools where Nikolai studied he always found musicians with whom he organised performances. Then service in the ranks of the Soviet army, and playing in the army band "Manezh Luck". After the army, Nikolay continued to play the guitar and compose his own songs, but changes in the country in 1987 changed his life and music took second place. For almost 20 years Nikolay didn't pay serious attention to music, he just sometimes sang his favourite songs at events and festivities of his family and friends. In 2004 a lucky chance brought Nikolay to the recording studio "Lad" in Pyatigorsk. From that moment music life of Nikolay has changed cardinally.
He started recording songs, perfected his vocal, and started working on the stages of Caucasian Mineralnye Vody with solo performances from the repertoire of Russian pop stars' songs. Collaboration with authors and musicians gave a certain amount of work, his songs gradually began to appear, and in 2017 the first solo album Lucky Event was released.
Nikolai Adamov has participated in various music projects, and has been a finalist in the international music festivals Russian Soul, Save Life, and Chanson on the Don. He has won various prizes and awards.
Today the work on the new album is in full swing. It will be lyrical songs dedicated to love and human relations.
