This song is about such a state of mind when we have parted with something or someone that (who) seemed to us the sense of life. At such moments it seems that all paths are lost, there is nowhere to strive, nothing to want and no will to change anything. One feels like a sailboat that has lost its direction because of the calm. In a fog in which you can see neither the shore nor the guiding beam of a lighthouse. At times like this, it seems like it will never change, but it really doesn't. After all, the wind has already woken up somewhere astern to fill the sail again, because the wind is such a force that acts regardless of whether we believe in it or not.
