With this work Train to Elsewhere finishes the "Autumn Trilogy" which we started in 2020 with "Samhain"
>>>
This will be a completely different listening experience than our previous albums. This work, while featuring some elements of doom metal and even stoner, takes a much more chamber music approach and utilizes heavily elements of neoclassical, gothic, post industrial, darkwave and dark ambient music, sometimes even bordering industrial noise (most of it is neither rock nor metal). A special lo-fi approach was taken to the music to outline the raw emotion that is in the concept of this album; elements of field recordings were also used in the mix. First of all, this is a record about Nature, the existential perception of nature by the lyrical protagonists of these songs. This perception is at times problematic and negative, at other times spiritual and enlightening (in the Jungian sense) yet deeply melancholic. One must travel through the shadow to reach the light, yet in the end of the journey Eternal Autumn triumphs. With this work Train to Elsewhere finishes the "Autumn Trilogy" which we started in 2020 with "Samhain". For some time after this release we, as a band, are going to be "on hold"; the members of Train to Elsewhere will focus on other musical projects, and, when the time comes, in the future we will reunite to praise the Eternal Autumn once again. We all wish to thank all our listeners who supported us!
